An IT Professional with experience in IT direct customer support is needed for a Direct-Hire IT Support Technician position in Lancaster, PA! As the IT Support Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting client issues and heavily utilizing the company’s ticket system.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer include:
- Delivering services in accordance with all Service Level Agreements.
- Managing user profiles and resolving file permissions and file access issues.
- Performing backup repair and malware/virus remediation.
- Helping clients with the basic use of common applications and operating systems.
- Troubleshooting/resolving issues escalated by the NOC team and escalating any issues you cannot resolve on your own.
- Utilizing the service ticket system to log all requests, activities, and labor, including documentation for special requests and customization's considered important.
- Monitoring the operational support systems to proactively identify service impacting events relating to IT, network, and facility conditions.
- Regularly communicating with customers and staff to ensure expectations are set and that customer requests are being addressed.
- Creating/editing client focused operating procedures as new information is created and used.
- Developing or implementing technical solutions to resolve clients’ challenges.
- Attending training's and furthering industry knowledge.
- Completing other projects/assignments as needed.
- Working full-time hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm).

- Minimum 2 years of related IT direct customer support experience (or similar IT experience)
- Minimum 2 years troubleshooting technical issues on desktop PCs and Macs via remote applications.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of TCP.IP, routing, switching, subnetting, etc.
- Experience in user administration in MS Exchange
- Experience with Comp TIA Network+, MCSA: Windows Server or MCTs: MS Exchange Strong Active Directory administration skills
- Above average competency with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- A+ certification, Network+, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated mastery of the service ticket system
- Travelling locally when needed
- Flexible and adaptable to business needs (including working on call as needed)
