Operations Manager


A responsible job-seeker is needed for a Direct-Hire Operations Manager position in Philadelphia, PA! As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of various departments as assigned, as well as overseeing supervisors. This position starts at an annual salary of $80K.



Responsibilities of the Operations Manager include:




  • Overseeing and managing daily activities of the overall agency and front-line staff.




  • Maximizing utilization of resources.




  • Analyzing and recommending strategic plans/systems to ensure all processes/procedures meet company standards.




  • Providing input on processes.




  • identifying operational company needs and providing direction based off findings.




  • Notifying and escalating problematic occurrences as needed.




  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations.




  • Enacting contingency plans as needed; escalating and directing activities during problems, etc.




  • Identifying potential problems, and providing input for future process improvements.




  • Reviewing ongoing performance results to targets.




  • Participating in all employee disciplinary actions, orientation and evaluation of employees.




  • Holding meetings with supervisors and care managers to resolve issues.




  • Assisting with flow of incoming aides and consumers, as needed.




  • Handling questions, problems, and concerns about services.




  • Surveying/auditing staff documentation regarding patient care.




  • Assuring initial and ongoing authorization for services for clients.




  • Maintaining knowledge of State program requirements.




  • Keeping immediate superior promptly and fully formed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and taking prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.




  • Ensuring proper training of personnel assigned.




  • Fostering a cooperative and harmonious working climate conductive to maximize employee morale and productivity.




  • Maintaining consumer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.




  • Preparing reports by collecting and analyzing information.




  • Performing other specific tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

Requirements of the Operations Manager:



  • High school diploma/GED (Bachelor's degree preferred)

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience and at least 1 -2 years of experience in a health care or home care environment preferred

  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrates proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

  • Works well in a team environment and independently

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response

  • Demonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strategic thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

  • Strong Documentation Skills

  • Registered vehicle.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
