Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our client in Philadelphia, PA! The Collections Specialist is primarily responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts owed to the organization. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering $50,000-$62,000/year!
Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist include:
- Resolve non-payment issues via direct contact with internal and external clients.
- Provide customer service regarding collection issues, review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
- Responsible for monitoring small AR balances for write-offs, customer reconciliations, and applying or refunding unapplied cash balances.
- Create and maintain collection forecast.
- Meet with manager regularly to discuss monthly and annual collection forecast.
- Enlist the efforts of senior management when necessary, to accelerate the collection process.
- Provide AR statements to internal and external clients as appropriate.
- Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances.
- Assist in ad hoc client payment projects.
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties as necessary to support the department.
Qualifications of the Collections Specialist include:
- Service oriented, self-motivated individual who consistantly performs with a high snese of urgency and pride in product.
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and an ability to establish and maintain relationships with partners, attorneys, staff, clients, and other third-party vendors.
- Experience with SharePoint software is helpful, but not required.
