Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese)
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese) to join our client to support high-volume member inquiries and deliver a seamless customer experience. In this role, you will assist individuals with questions related to claims, benefits, enrollment, and account access, ensuring each interaction is handled with clarity and care. You will play a key part in resolving issues, guiding callers through next steps, and documenting details accurately across multiple systems. This is a full-time, remote contract-to-hire opportunity operating on a standard Monday–Friday EST schedule.
Compensation:
$25.54/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, standard EST business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese):
Member Support & Issue Resolution
Respond to inbound calls and complete required follow-up outreach, addressing questions related to benefits, claims, enrollment, ID cards, and digital portal access while ensuring a helpful and solution-driven experience.
Multi-System Navigation & Documentation
Work across several internal systems to research information, update member records, log call details, and ensure accurate data entry throughout each interaction.
Communication & Customer Experience Delivery
Communicate clearly in both Japanese and English, using professional language to explain complex information, guide members step-by-step, and provide a positive and empathetic customer experience.
Collaboration & Service Quality
Partner with internal teams when needed to resolve member issues, escalate concerns appropriately, and follow established procedures to maintain service-level expectations.
Qualifications and Skills for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese):
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both Japanese and English, ideally with Japanese as a first language.
A high school diploma or equivalent, paired with at least two years of customer service experience.
Strong communication abilities, including clear verbal delivery, solid grammar, and the capacity to explain detailed information over the phone.
Comfort working in a phone-based, fast-paced environment while navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
Call center, healthcare, or medical-related experience is a plus.
