Job Title: Claims Subrogation Investigator

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Claims Subrogation Investigator to join our client to support thorough fact-finding efforts that strengthen subrogation and recovery outcomes. This role plays a key part in uncovering the details behind property-related incidents, identifying responsible parties, and organizing evidence that supports claims resolution and potential litigation. The investigator will work closely with attorneys, experts, and external partners to ensure each case is documented accurately and advanced efficiently. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Philadelphia, PA, offering steady weekday hours and meaningful exposure to legal and insurance processes.

Compensation:
$55,000 – $57,000/year

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours


Key Responsibilities of the Claims Subrogation Investigator:

Conduct and support investigative fieldwork
Perform detailed fact-gathering for property-related claims, accompany investigators or attorneys to on-site inspections, assist with evidence collection, and help evaluate incident scenes. Local travel within the city may be required.

Identify responsible parties and initiate recovery actions
Research and locate third parties who may be liable, issue notice letters, and help coordinate follow-up actions that contribute to recovery strategies.

Coordinate inspections and collaborate with case partners
Work directly with attorneys, experts, vendors, and insurance representatives to schedule inspections, review evidence, and ensure smooth case progression.

Prepare case materials and maintain organized documentation
Draft summaries, investigative reports, and damage assessments. Keep files and records current, accurate, and audit-ready to support litigation or negotiation efforts.

Manage a steady caseload with strong attention to detail
Handle multiple active claims simultaneously while ensuring timely communication, precise documentation, and consistent follow-through.


Qualifications and Skills for the Claims Subrogation Investigator:

Experience in property-related claims (2+ years preferred)
Background in subrogation, property investigations, or claims handling involving fire, water, wind, or similar damage types.

Knowledge of insurance or claims processes
Familiarity with property and casualty investigations or servicing, ideally within an insurance environment or similar field.

Ability to adapt to a law firm setting
Comfort working in a professional, fast-paced, and traditionally structured legal environment, even without prior law firm experience.

Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
Able to document findings clearly, maintain detailed records, and collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and external partners.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage volume
Capable of balancing multiple investigations while ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
