Job Title: Corporate Legal Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to join our client to support corporate and tax attorneys with day to day legal and administrative operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring legal matters move forward efficiently through strong organization, document management, and communication support. The position offers hands on exposure to corporate transactional work in a professional services environment. This is a direct hire opportunity based onsite in Tampa Florida.
Compensation:
$23.00 to $35.00 per hour with eligibility for over time
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday during normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Legal Assistant:
• Support corporate and tax attorneys by preparing, reviewing, formatting, and organizing legal documents related to contracts and transactions
• Manage corporate filings, entity formations, matter intake, and conflict check processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, client communications, and internal correspondence to keep matters on track
• Maintain electronic and physical files while overseeing document management, version control, and retrieval
• Assist with billing support, expense reporting, special projects, and general administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills for the Corporate Legal Assistant:
• Three or more years of current corporate or transactional legal assistant experience with strong exposure to corporate work
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally while delivering excellent customer service
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage shifting workloads independently
• High attention to detail with solid problem solving capabilities in a fast paced legal environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with experience using a document management system preferred
