Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) seeks an experienced and driven Principal for SMS and Chat Marketing to lead strategic marketing initiatives. This permanent, remote position is starting at $105,000/year! This role is critical for managing our online chat and SMS channels, with a primary focus on customer engagement and portfolio retention. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of marketing acumen, CRM expertise, operational skills, and leadership. They should be detail-oriented with a deep understanding of SMS marketing nuances, including campaign optimization, data-driven decision-making, and managing customer relationships across multiple touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategy, execution, and forecasting of marketing campaigns for SMS and chat channels to drive customer retention and improve conversion rates across product offerings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including finance, analytics, sales, and technology, to enhance campaign performance and lead quality.
  • Manage marketing operations within SMS and chat platforms, ensuring efficient segmentation, targeting, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize customer engagement through a "test, measure, and refine" methodology.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and presenting key findings to executive leadership.
  • Define and manage key metrics, packaging them into clear dashboards and reports to measure and improve channel performance.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and ensure alignment with sales and marketing goals to achieve superior business outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, specifically with consumer-focused SMS and chat campaigns.
  • Proven experience with marketing automation platforms, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong track record of successful marketing strategies and revenue-driving campaigns.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, with an ability to derive actionable insights from metrics.
