Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) seeks a Facilities Supervisor to join our client Albany, OH! The Facilities Supervisor will oversee facility operations, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, at a site that includes cleanrooms, warehouses, offices, and outdoor areas. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and comfortable work environment while managing contractors for services like pest control and janitorial tasks. The Supervisor will also create and maintain documentation, such as SOPs, in regulated environments and collaborate with departments to optimize building systems. This direct-hire role offers up to $95,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage facility-related work orders, ensuring tasks are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs in collaboration with leadership and quality teams.
  • Maintain and repair machinery and systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and water purification equipment.
  • Monitor building systems, including cleanroom environments, using a Building Management System (BMS).
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and initiate purchase orders as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies promptly, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Lead and assist in facility projects, such as renovations and equipment installations.
  • Oversee vendor contracts and monitor performance for maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs to meet quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for security-related alarms and access management.
  • Coordinate facility recertifications and associated maintenance tasks.
  • Handle daily facility needs, such as managing janitorial supplies and small repairs.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; additional technical certifications (e.g., HVAC) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of facilities maintenance experience, with supervisory roles in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical or manufacturing).
  • Experience with work order systems and preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Proven ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, motors, and building infrastructure.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly with minimal operational disruption.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with strong task prioritization abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., cGMP) and safety programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
  • Leadership experience in safety and incident management.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
