Mortgage Collections Representative

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking several Mortgage Collections Representatives to join our client for a direct hire, fully remote opportunity! As the Mortgage Collection Representative, you will be responsible for managing outbound calls to borrowers regarding home debt, navigating challenging conversations, and ensuring adherence to regulations in a high-paced, metrics-driven environment. This role offers $17/hour!

Responsibilities of the Mortgage Collections Representative Include:

• Conduct outbound calls via an automatic dialer to collect payments and resolve delinquencies on mortgage accounts.
• Educate borrowers on options to bring accounts current, probe into personal finances, and provide guidance to prevent future delinquencies.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies while handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including responding to emails, participating in team chats, referencing training materials, and completing detailed call documentation.
• De-escalate difficult situations professionally, ensuring clear communication and adherence to company procedures while maintaining a focus on resolution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of collections and/or outbound call experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; mortgage or financial services experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in using in-house systems, automatic dialers, and proprietary customer data platforms; advanced computer literacy required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally handle challenging conversations and frustrated customers.
• Highly organized with the ability to reference multiple sources of information quickly and accurately during calls.
