Job Title: Branch Manager

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Branch Manager to join our client to support daily branch operations, lead a high-performing team, and help drive business growth through strong customer relationships and operational excellence. This direct-hire opportunity is based in Philadelphia, PA and is fully onsite. In this role, you will oversee branch performance, ensure compliance with financial institution procedures, and contribute to business development initiatives within the local community. The ideal candidate combines leadership experience with strong knowledge of retail banking operations and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation:
$60,000 – $80,000 per year + annual discretionary bonus

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Branch Manager:

  • Lead and support branch staff by providing coaching, performance guidance, and scheduling oversight to ensure efficient daily operations and high service standards.
  • Drive branch growth by building relationships with local businesses, engaging with community organizations, and identifying opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Oversee teller operations and service functions, assisting with complex transactions, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring proper adherence to banking procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, operational guidelines, and security protocols, including oversight of branch opening/closing procedures and alarm monitoring.
  • Coordinate workflow across the branch by managing staffing needs, monitoring service activity, and maintaining operational reports and logs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and loan officers to identify lending opportunities and provide referrals that support overall branch performance.

Qualifications and Skills for the Branch Manager:

  • 3–5 years of leadership experience within a banking or financial institution environment.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking operations, including teller processes, branch procedures, and customer service best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and train staff while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented culture.
  • Comfortable engaging in business development activities such as community involvement, networking, and outreach to prospective clients.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and banking software, along with strong organizational and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused and results-driven mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional financial or business education is a plus.
