Job Title: Foreclosure Paralegal
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Foreclosure Paralegal to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. Based in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, this Hybrid, Direct Hire opportunity offers an experienced legal professional the chance to guide lender and servicer foreclosure matters through each stage of the legal process. The position involves managing a substantial caseload, preparing essential filings, coordinating with parties to legal proceedings, and partnering closely with several attorneys and fellow paralegals. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of New Jersey or New York foreclosure procedures, careful attention to deadlines, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast paced legal environment.
Compensation:
Up to $44.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, with a one hour lunch break.
Key Responsibilities of the Foreclosure Paralegal:

• Oversee a large portfolio of New Jersey or New York foreclosure files while maintaining accurate records, priorities, and court deadlines.
• Prepare complaints, pleadings, correspondence, and supporting documents required throughout the foreclosure litigation process.
• Coordinate communications among attorneys, borrowers, courts, clients, and other parties involved in active legal matters.
• Support three to four attorneys by organizing case activity, monitoring progress, and addressing documentation needs across assigned files.
• Facilitate consistent case handling by collaborating with other paralegals and maintaining complete information within legal and foreclosure management systems.

• At least five years of foreclosure experience within a law firm that represents mortgage lenders or loan servicers in New Jersey or New York.
• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation focused foreclosure matters from initial complaint preparation through subsequent stages of the case.
• Required experience using established loan servicing and foreclosure case management platforms.
• Familiarity with document management and legal practice management applications is strongly preferred.
• Proven organizational, communication, and workload management skills, with the ability to support multiple attorneys in a high volume setting; experience limited solely to an internal lender or servicer environment does not meet the role requirements.
