Job Title: Loss Mitigation Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Loss Mitigation Specialist to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Direct Hire opportunity is Remote and open to candidates residing in Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, South Carolina, Maryland, Arkansas, or North Carolina. The specialist will help evaluate mortgage assistance options, guide accounts through the resolution process, and maintain accurate information throughout each case. Success in this position requires sound judgment, clear communication, strong attention to detail, and experience navigating mortgage servicing or related financial operations.
Compensation:
$21 to $22 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with an 8 hour shift scheduled between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM ET. The training schedule is pending confirmation.
Key Responsibilities of the Loss Mitigation Specialist:

• Analyze borrower circumstances and account information to identify appropriate mortgage assistance or resolution options.
• Guide customers through required steps, documentation needs, and available solutions while providing clear and professional service.
• Coordinate case activity with internal partners to support accurate decisions and timely account progression.
• Maintain complete records of communications, documentation, status updates, and actions taken throughout the review process.
• Ensure assigned work follows applicable mortgage servicing guidelines, regulatory expectations, and established operational procedures.

Qualifications and Skills for the Loss Mitigation Specialist:

• At least 2 years of experience in loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, banking, collections, or a closely related financial services function.
• Familiarity with conventional agency backed mortgage requirements is preferred.
• Candidates whose primary background involves government insured mortgages should also have exposure to conventional agency backed loans.
• Reliable home internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps; service providing 100 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload is preferred.
• Ability to connect the work equipment directly to the internet using a wired Ethernet connection.
