We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our client in Columbus, Ohio! As the Staff Accountant, your primary responsibilities would be preparing internal and external financial statements and ensuring integrity of accounting information. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering $65,000-$70,000/year! 

 

• Maintain quality control and integrity of all job costing data
• Create timely and accurate journal entries
• Responsible for related general ledger account reconciliations  
• Review and assist in the preparation of percentage of completion revenue recognition (WIP) report
• Work with branch personnel to solve processing issues
• Develop procedures to improve efficiency
• Perform internal review and reporting of financial data
• Prepare operational and financial reports to be used at all levels of the organization
• Analyze monthly branch reports from the field
• Assist in the automation of the job cost schedule
• Assist with audit requests and operational report needs from Executive Leadership
• Understanding and ability to write reports using knowledge of relational databases and SQL syntax
• Assist with other accounting functions as requested
