Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a marketing professional to join our client for a remote opportunity (must be located in Pennsylvania)! The Marketing Operations Manager is primarily responsible for the end-to-end strategic management of marketing technology and processes and ensures the marketing team can seamlessly execute multi-channel programs. They support the success of the entire marketing function by identifying cross functional marketing capability needs, architecting technology solutions, collaborating to create integrated marketing tech roadmaps and work closely with external vendors and internal engineering teams to drive a holistic buying journey experience. This Contract opportunity is offering $50-$51/HR! 

Responsibilities of the Marketing Operations Manager include:
  • Provides expert level knowledge on the Marketing Technology stack and supported features and constraints.
  • Understands marketing pain points, our 5-year strategy, and current marketing/advertising technology stack to define a clear and compelling strategic plan, value proposition, and then drive marketing tooling to address them and support the global team.
  • Owns the definition, documentation and deployment of the systems architecture, assessment of systems, and the development of a strategic technology roadmap for Marketing ensuring that it is in alignment with the overall IT enterprise roadmap.
  • Utilizes deep understanding of business needs to drive process and productivity improvements, reduce time to market, improve operational efficiencies, and improve the buyer’s experience by optimizing our marketing technology stack.
  • Manages marketing automation strategies and processes, proactively researches and implements the latest best practices and industry standards.
  • Provides senior level “consulting services” to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
  • Works cross functionally with the marketing data team to define and implement a continuous lead enrichment strategy for improving the quality of the database (prospect and customer) to enable effective segmentation and profiling
  • Analyzes the flow of lead generation to the CRM and collaborates within Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to ensure leads are routed correctly and attributed to the correct campaigns.
  • Owns the annual technology planning and prioritization roadmap against short- and long-term business requirements.
  • Manages multiple stakeholders, deadlines, projects, budget requirements to execute the annual technology plan.
  • Leads the design and testing of new or enhanced applications that align to the overall technology strategy.
  • Leads the overall strategic approach, administration and management of integrations, lead routing, field mapping and optimizations of functionalities across sales, marketing and IT.
  • Ensures the marketing technology vision and roadmap are aligned across the entire revenue engine by working closely with sales operations and finance teams.
  • Owns the definition and continual optimization of lead scoring and routing methodology to increase funnel efficiencies and conversion rates.
  • Evaluates the campaign infrastructure and provides recommendations to continuously improve hierarchy and enable better reporting and ROI.
  • Ensures standard QA functions and code reviews for campaigns, automation workflows, email assets, and other customer-facing assets are complete
  • Shares best practices around segmentation, AB testing, targeting, and personalization of emails communications to the marketing managers
  • Enables the marketing team to build multi-step communication journeys that include integrated email and SDR outreach
  • Leverage marketing performance data to provide infrastructure and technology investment counsel to senior marketing leaders.
  • Works with the IT engineering team to uncover new technical capabilities and use cases that they enable, define functionality and influence roadmap decisions for the marketing technology stack.
  • Maintains the technology inventory and regularly identify stakeholder business requirements to optimize the adoption, usage, and value of tools and systems.
  • Oversees the change management and adoption, including implementation of new marketing technology rollouts.
  • May lead projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Marketing Operations Manager includes:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Six (6) plus years of related work experience.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in B2B marketing technology required.
  • Digital Marketing business acumen preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with B2B Marketing technologies, strategic planning and implementation of those technologies and overall adoption and process optimization of the stack.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • In depth understanding of the software development process required to deliver reliable software as a service applications (SaaS) to support the strategic vision and can articulate the value of utilizing the right platforms to tackle marketing technology use cases.
  • Results-driven with a high sense of urgency and accountability: ability to meet business objectives, deliverables and timely completion of initiatives with a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to lead the launch of technology tooling within marketing departments.
  • Strong capability of reviewing, configuring and managing marketing technology applications including Salesforce.com, Pardot or other Marketing Automation platform, Salesloft, RingLead, Drupal CMS, other core marketing technologies.
  • Strong capability in using JIRA, GitHub, Smartsheet, etc. and the ability to create project plans and execute against them.
  • Ability to bring forward marketing experience and insights to make sure the operations team has the necessary information to make decisions based on performance and goals.
  • Familiar with GDPR, CCPA, etc. regulations and marketing consent practices and ability to consult with the data strategy team and legal when necessary.
  • Creative problem solver who listens hard, is highly observant, communicative and can organize people and ideas to get things done.
  • Ability to partner with cross functional teams (marketing, IT, design, product management, research, etc.).
  • Specific, or Similar in the following platforms; Salesforce CRM (required), Pardot or other Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), Drupal/CMS, Gather Content, Salesloft or Outreach, Lean Data or RingLead, Drupal CMS, Alyce, 6Sense, ON24, Cvent, HootSuite, Media Valet, ZoomInfo, and other marketing technologies that support the end to end customer journey.
