Overview: Our science and research client is seeking an IT Project Manager. This position is 100% remote and requires flexibility with changing priorities. The contract is 6 months to start and with the possibility to extend.
Responsibilities:
Delivers project management support and oversight for projects within the Patient Supply Organization and all other projects based on business priorities. This includes defining the scope and governance process for future releases of systems, assisting the business with a gap analysis of current system capabilities, all work associated with the RFI and RFP processes, requirements definition, configuration, validation, cutover to production through hyper-care activities.
Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute the implementation plan.
Manage constraints of schedule, budget and assigned resources to deliver defined scope.
Ensure that all proper documentation for GxP compliance is developed and delivered on time.
Upload all project documentation to the project SharePoint site including required stage signoffs
Manage access permissions to the project SharePoint site.
Manage budget, create budget review decks, and lead budget review with internal stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to produce weekly project status reports.
Meet with IT Program Management and Portfolio Lead weekly to provide status updates.
Ensure projects are executed on time, on budget and meet pre-established goals and objectives.
Document and communicate system changes and issues to relevant stakeholders.
Manage the delivery of any open defects, integration work, and/or requested enhancements post launch within the timeline established.
Education and Experience Requirements
10+ years direct work experience as a project manager, including process development.
Experience in implementing shop floor systems (MES, OSI-PI) for Quality Control (QC) function within a pharmaceutical manufacturing division is desirable.
Experience with managing shop floor implementation and/or integration(s).
Strong familiarity with MS Project Online, JIRA, Teams, and SharePoint.
Experience in Agile methodology is a plus.
PMP Certification is a plus.
Life Sciences industry experience including prior experience implementing GXP systems.
Strong experience working with SDLCs.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
