Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Palm Beach, FL. This direct-hire opportunity is offering $50k/year based on education/experience!

Responsibilities of the AP Specialist include:

• Capture all invoices into paperless AP system in a timely manner for multiple facilities
• Properly code and post invoices from AP system to accounting software including identification of invoices to multiple ledgers and entities
• Act as the first line of internal control for cash disbursements by ensuring invoices are approved properly and ACHs/Wires are set up correctly
• Set up weekly bank transfers
• Prepare weekly batch checks run for approvals and signatures
• Maintain W9 file
• Daily maintenance of AP Accrual Sheets for multiple entities
• Reconcile AP aging on a monthly basis
• Clear ACH payments in the accounting system
• Review and verify vendor statements as needed
• Upkeep accounting e-mail for vendor invoices and correspondence
• Work with property managers and vendors to resolve billing issues and inquiries
• Assist with month end closing
• Assist in audits and reviews
• Perform other duties as assigned and special projects

Qualifications of the Patent Billing Specialist include:

• Associate's degree in accounting or high school diploma with a minimum of 3+ year of Accounts Payable experience
• Must be flexible, organized, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines
• Must be detailed orientated with the ability to identify and resolve errors and issues
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office
• Sage and Docufree experience preferred
