Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Philadelphia, PA! The HR Generalist is primarily responsible for assisting the HR team in all facets of HR during a new software implementation (Workday). This contract opportunity is offering up to $35/HR depending on experience/education!
Responsibilities of the HR Generalist include:

Act as a point of contact for employees' inquiries, concerns, and issues.

Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.

Support performance appraisal processes, including goal setting and performance reviews.

Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.
-
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
-
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and update policies as needed.

Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and leave policies.

Support compensation-related activities, such as salary reviews and bonus programs.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.

Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement, morale, and overall workplace culture.

Organize events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.

Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and necessary paperwork.

Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as policy updates, diversity and inclusion efforts, and process improvements.
Requirements of the HR Generalist include:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

2+ years in a Generalist or equivalent HR role.

Experience using Workday is a plus.

Solid understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
