Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an AP Specialist to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Plymouth Meeting, PA! The contract opportunity is offering $25-$27/HR!

Responsibilities of the AP Specialist include:
  • Account Payable duties including coding, processing and reconciling invoices, invoice approval requests, weekly payment runs, filing, new vendor onboarding and vendor correspondence.  
  • Perform various accounting department activities for accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial information in accordance with GAAP and within the month end/year end close cycles. 
  • Maintain files and records to keep information updated and easily accessible. 
  • Interpret accounting data, analyze reports and recommend action to be taken. 
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports. 
  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts, notes payable, and credit card accounts. 
  • Assist team with providing financial reporting, budget preparation, revenue reporting, and analysis. 
  • Report to management any material changes or problems during the month as well as report on a daily basis the status of account balances and other requested statistics. 
  • Implement and maintain processes and procedures which verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, all of which are necessary to maintain a secure control environment. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Requirements of the AP Specialist include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • 1+ year(s) experience in full-cycle AP 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel 
  • Experience in Coupa is preferred
