Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Claims Adjuster to join our client for a work from home opportunity! The Claims Adjuster will be responsible for the effective management of a caseload of up to 150 pending claims, including cases of varying complexity. As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, contributing to the resolution of claims and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is offering $30-$35/HR!
Key Responsibilities:

Claim Handling: Investigate claims, determine facts of loss, analyze coverage, assess compensability/liability/negligence, and coordinate medical care when required.

Litigation Management: Manage the litigation process, working closely with attorneys on first and third-party claims.

Damage Assessment: Evaluate damages resulting from claims and develop appropriate solutions.

Negotiation: Engage in negotiations for settlements, always striving for fair and equitable outcomes.

Fraud Detection: Identify potential fraud in claims and take appropriate actions.

Vendor Coordination: Ensure the proper utilization of authorized vendors to support claims processing.

Reserve Analysis: Conduct timely and accurate reserve analysis to support financial planning.

Reporting: Complete detailed reports in a timely manner to document claim progress.

Client Interaction: Attend conferences and client meetings, presenting information professionally and providing top-notch service.

Mentorship: Offer mentorship and guidance to fellow adjusters as needed.

Compliance: Ensure all claim handling adheres to state statutes, Client Claims Handling Guidelines, and the client’s Best Practices.

Miscellaneous Duties: Be open to other tasks as assigned, which may include occasional travel.
Qualification Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent (2-year degree or higher preferred).

2 to 7 years of prior claim adjusting experience or completion of the client’s Claims Trainee program.

Ability to obtain a Florida Adjuster's license or required jurisdictional licensing.

Strong negotiation and litigation skills, particularly in interactions with attorneys and arbitration.

Excellent interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.

Independent work capability with excellent organization and time management skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with auditors, clients, and potential clients during presentations.
