Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Client Setup Analyst to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Philadelphia, PA! The Client Setup Analyst plays a vital role in our client’s organization by ensuring the seamless setup of clients in their group setup and benefit administration system. This multifaceted position encompasses various responsibilities, including handling new sales, renewals, cancellations, and maintaining client account setups. Additionally, the Client Setup Analyst is responsible for investigating and resolving client setup issues to ensure a high level of service and accuracy. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is offering $23.33-$26.67/HR!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure group setups in the group and benefits administration systems, covering medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Collaborate with Sales or Brokers to comprehend client benefit purchases and execute the setup accordingly.
  • Manage internal processes, including data accuracy review, system input correction, and resolution of operational and internal system issues.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate cases for processing eligibility based on gathered information and further review needs.
  • Adhere to plans, policies, and procedures established by Sales Management.
  • Verify that all underwriting guidelines are met, rate quotes are accurate, and determine the need for additional underwriting.
  • Set up new clients in the system based on new sales underwriting guidelines.
  • Implement renewal changes requested by clients and update the system accordingly.
  • Handle cancellations and maintain group account data.
  • Communicate enrollment and billing actions required to Enrollment and Billing teams.
  • Investigate and resolve client setup issues within core platform systems.
  • Resolve pharmacy setup issues and ensure access to care for pharmacy benefit system members.
  • Collaborate with benefit administration vendors to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Meet departmental production and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and submit quality control documentation for group setup and changes to processing areas.
  • Cultivate strong business relationships with internal stakeholders, including Underwriting, Sales, Marketing, Enrollment, and Customer Service.
  • Manage broker setup, linking client groups to the correct broker in the broker commissions system, and addressing setup discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Research and resolve group setup issues for medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Address problems, identify trends, and provide customer education as needed.
  • Conduct quality audits of all documentation related to group/customer setups and coordinate missing materials.
  • Audit incoming materials and maintain comprehensive documentation for issue resolution within the broker community, external clients, and departments.
  • Resolve errors and internal/external issues promptly to maintain turnaround times for customer/group setups.
  • Offer technical assistance and guidance to Sales and other areas regarding the new business enrollment process.
  • Handle the implementation of new groups, benefit changes, and cancellations.
  • Understand customer requirements, document issues or tasks, and collaborate closely with Sales to meet customer expectations.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot benefits and other issues related to group setup.
  • Represent the Client Setup team in cross-functional internal and vendor meetings.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills are essential.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability, as well as the willingness to cross-train to support team members.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with management and external clients.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, with a commitment to issue resolution.
  • Aptitude for understanding benefits and underwriting rating methodologies.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to comprehend and apply underwriting guidelines.
  • High technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learning of proprietary and vendor systems.
