Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Conshohocken, PA! The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable management, encompassing contract analysis, billing accuracy, collections, and comprehensive accounts receivable reporting. This position is essential to maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance with our client’s internal controls. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering $70,000-$90,000 annual salary!

Contract Analysis: Conduct in-depth reviews of legal contracts to identify relevant economic data necessary for revenue and commission calculations.

Billing Accuracy: Scrutinize client billing calculations for precision, guaranteeing that invoices are accurate and reflective of the contractual terms.

Month-End Close: Monitor month-end close journal entries to ensure financial records align with company standards.

Timely Posting: Oversee the timely and precise posting of billing, adjustments, and payments to maintain accurate financial records.

Collections Management: Execute strategies for timely collections of outstanding receivables.

Account Reconciliations: Review and reconcile various accounts, fostering financial transparency.

Documentation Management: Maintain and organize all required documentation for internal control purposes.

Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure compliance and transparency.

Special Projects: Undertake special projects and assignments as delegated by management.
Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a prerequisite.

Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience is required, with a preference for SEC/public company reporting experience. Experience in complex investment management and private equity fund management fee calculations is advantageous.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for clear and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

Systems Proficiency: Proficiency with accounting and reporting systems is required, with experience in Workday Financials being a plus.

Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with SOX 404 compliance efforts is highly valued.
