We are seeking a dedicated Operations Coordinator to join our client in Smyrna, DE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our home health care services. Your responsibilities will include scheduling clinical assignments, collaborating with clinical managers to ensure appropriate assignments, and coordinating patient appointments. As a key member of our team, you will help manage patient schedules in collaboration with clinicians, aides, and managers to ensure high-quality care delivery. This Contract opportunity is offering $20-$21/HR!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure completed schedules are prepared well in advance for daily, weekly, and monthly periods.
  • Continuously maintain and update schedules throughout the day to accommodate changes and optimize efficiency.
  • Communicate any schedule changes promptly to clinicians, aides, and patients.
  • Ensure that all clinicians and aides are scheduled appropriately to meet budgeted productivity goals.
  • Assure that patient assignments and services adhere to timely access to care requirements.
  • Coordinate and generate daily/weekly reports and perform reconciliation activities to maintain patient safety standards.
  • Maintain an accurate database containing employee profiles, availabilities, schedules, and patient demographics.
  • Process payroll reports and perform data entry tasks.
  • Communicate and escalate any scheduling conflicts to management for resolution.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities while maintaining professionalism.
  • Manage deadlines efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with patients to ensure the delivery of excellent services.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Previous experience in scheduling and home health care is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, and an associate degree is preferred.
