In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and meticulously managing the administration of our clients' estates. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the execution of estate plans, asset valuation, financial reporting for tax purposes, and ensuring compliance with will and trust documents. You will work closely with families or executors to navigate the intricate details of estate administration, making sound financial decisions and providing expert guidance throughout the process. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering a $90,000-$100,000 annual salary!
Key Responsibilities:

Estate Plan Administration: Administer client estate plans, ensuring the proper execution of plans and the distribution and disposition of assets. Provide accurate asset valuations and financial information required for tax returns. Prepare county probate and administration filings.

Asset and Liability Analysis: Work directly with families or executors to identify and administer estate assets, including real estate, financial accounts, personal property, and liabilities such as mortgages and outstanding bills. Thoroughly analyze estate documents, tax returns, and family records to ensure comprehensive asset management.

Probate and Legal Compliance: Prepare necessary documents for probate and accompany executors during the process. Investigate family relationships to identify potential tax issues and other associations affecting estate administration. Initiate life insurance claims and prepare documents for the transfer or sale of assets like automobiles.

Trust and Account Management: Establish and manage estate or trust accounts, including the liquidation or consolidation of accounts. Process payments for outstanding invoices and ongoing estate or trust expenses. Administer loan repayments and fund trust accounts for tax payments, bequests, and distributions. Execute brokerage account trades and wire funds as needed.

Tax Compliance: Provide financial information required for the preparation of income and death tax returns to tax accountants. Collaborate with tax accountants to calculate estimated inheritance tax liability. Audit completed inheritance tax returns and federal estate tax returns (if applicable) before attorney review and approval. File and pay taxes on behalf of clients. Review income tax and fiduciary income tax returns. Direct the distribution of estate assets and manage Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, notifying trustees of distribution windows.

Accounting and Legal Support: Manage court accountings, compile records for accountants to prepare accounts, and review records for accurate reporting. Contact Orphans Court for filing requirements and fees. Facilitate informal settlement agreements and assist attorneys in preparing notice letters to beneficiaries.
Qualifications:

7 years of experience in fiduciary administration/estate planning/estates administration

Proficiency in estate planning software and financial management tools.
