Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our client in Wayne, PA! Reporting directly to the Plant Accounting Services Manager, the AR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of plant Accounts Receivables operations. This role entails implementing and managing Accounts Receivable policies, conducting credit assessments, maintaining accurate customer records, and ensuring timely cash application. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator collaborates with various stakeholders to manage collections and proactively address credit-related matters. This Contract opportunity is offering up to $28/HR!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and uphold Accounts Receivable policies in alignment with Sector directives.
  • Develop and maintain plant-specific Accounts Receivable policies and procedures.
  • Conduct credit assessments for new customers and perform bi-annual credit limit reviews.
  • Manage temporary credit limit adjustments for customers exceeding their limits.
  • Oversee the customer ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for each customer.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of invoices and cash payments to customer accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements with debtor's ledger receipts.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries regarding their accounts.
  • Spearhead the collection efforts for overdue accounts.
  • Investigate reasons for customer non-payments and escalate significant issues to the Credit Risk Manager and Plant Finance Manager, along with proposed resolution plans.
  • Plan and coordinate credit control meetings, evaluating credit risks associated with debtors with the support of the Credit Risk Manager.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on overdue debtors.
  • Conduct assessments and journal entries for bad debt in accordance with policy guidelines.
  • Generate and provide detailed analyses of debtor accounts for internal stakeholders, including Sales and Finance teams.
  • Prepare and distribute all Accounts Receivable (debtors) reports required for month-end closure and monthly customer account updates for Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Manage internal and external compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with plant management accountants to supply cash flow data for cashflow reporting purposes and obtain explanations for variances against forecasted cash flow.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience within Finance, particularly in managing Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Must have experience in SAP.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, offer insightful challenges, and thrive in time-sensitive environments.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse groups across multiple geographies.
