Provider Operations Specialist

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail oriented Provider Operations Specialist to join our client, a health insurance company, for a temporary-to-hire, remote position offering $24 per hour! As the Provider Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks for the company's new and existing provider contracts.

Responsibilities of the Provider Operations Specialist Include:

• Set up new provider contracts in the company's system including fee schedules, contract amendments, and demographic data.
• Implement annual contract updates, as needed. 
• Respond to claims pricing inquiries and coordinate with other departments for resolution of issues.
• Suggest quality improvement recommendations to the operations processes with provider contracts. 
• Adhere to procedural guidelines regarding contracts and turnaround times. 

Requirements of the Provider Operations Specialist:

• Associate's Degree and 1+ year of clerical or data entry experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
• Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
• Understanding of complex healthcare provider contracts
