Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Benefits Analyst to join our client in Wilmington, DE! This role involves the collection, compilation, and analysis of HR data, metrics, and statistics to provide informed recommendations regarding employee benefits. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering an annual salary of $75,000-$90,000!
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the administration of diverse employee benefit plans, such as health, life, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, and 401(k) programs.

Collaborate with the Treasury Operations Director to assess the suitability of mutual fund options within the company's 401(k) plan.

Provide guidance and support for the assessment and management of external benefits providers.

Review benefit policies to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.

Establish feedback mechanisms for employees to enhance HR benefits programs.

Maintain and distribute plan documents as necessary.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and address HRIS and vendor file issues.

Work closely with external consultants to ensure compliance and stay updated on benefit trends.

Monitor benefit programs by reviewing claims, reconciling payments, tracking stop-loss reimbursements, and assessing utilization reports.

Negotiate favorable rates for benefits programs and renew them with appropriate approvals.

Lead the implementation of ongoing benefits initiatives, including open enrollment.

Submit required documentation to benefits vendors and regulatory agencies.

Serve as a backup for payroll processing, ensuring accurate recording of salary changes, bonuses, and employee benefit contributions.

Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Collaborate with the HR and Legal Departments to update the Employee Handbook and workplace policies.

Assist in developing a performance management process, including performance reviews and feedback mechanisms.

Work in conjunction with the HR Department on employee engagement initiatives.

Coordinate with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure workplace health and safety policies comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.

Manage reasonable accommodations for employees, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Handle complex and sensitive employee concerns with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

Collaborate with HR and Legal Departments to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, DOL, ERISA, and ACA requirements.

Assist in creating and disseminating materials related to compliance updates and best practices.

Maintain a repository of compliance-related documents and communications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred SHRM certification or equivalent.

Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Effective at presenting information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.

Proficient in working with mathematical concepts, such as probability, statistical inference, and geometric and trigonometric fundamentals.

Able to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.

Skillful in problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and valid conclusion drawing.

Capable of interpreting a wide range of technical instructions and handling abstract and concrete variables.

Able to identify and maintain confidentiality in communications and document storage.

Proficient in Office 365 Suite, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft OneDrive.

Familiarity with File Explorer, third-party payroll software, and benefits software.

Competent in conducting basic web searches.
