Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Camden, NJ! The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department by providing support in multiple areas. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is offering $28/HR!

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily administrative assistance to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Manage and update the calendar for the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Regularly monitor the HR team email and handle incoming communications.
  • Record detailed meeting minutes and track action items.
  • Organize, compile, and update company personnel documents and maintain proper filing.
  • Schedule job interviews in coordination with hiring managers.
  • Maintain an efficient electronic filing system.
  • Assist in entering background check data into the appropriate database.
  • Collect and organize various company assessments.
  • Support new employee paperwork and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with employee exit paperwork when needed.
  • Manage HR analytics, metrics, and reporting, including turnover and headcount reports.
  • Maintain records for PTO, Accrued Sick, COVID, and Camden Parking spreadsheets.
  • Update and manage organizational charts.
  • Assist in coordinating company events, including catering orders and meeting space setups.
  • Help organize HR-sponsored events.
  • Create and distribute corporate communications.
  • Verify and track invoices related to HR activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources Administration.
  • A Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
  • Exceptionally organized with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate next steps on projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Apply sound judgment in making independent decisions.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive business situations with discretion.
  • Maintain a consistent professional image that conveys poise and tact in all situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong writing skills
