Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Accounting/Billing Admin to join our client in Houston, TX! This Accounting/Billing Admin will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. This position involves comprehensive support, focusing on data entry for ecommerce orders, customer interaction, and resolving order-related issues. This Contract opportunity is offering $24-$26/HR!

Responsibilities:
  • Copy order information accurately from Salesforce Order Management to the client’s database.
  • Update order status to facilitate payment collection when the order is ready to ship.
  • Enter and update tracking numbers in the system once orders are shipped.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone and web chat to resolve order issues promptly.
  • Assist customers with order cancellations and returns in accordance with company policies.
  • Verify successful payment capture through Stripe and ensure accurate sales tax calculation through Avalara.
  • Collaborate with the finance department, providing support with Stripe and Avalara reporting.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the retail website and/or finance department.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred; previous accounting and data entry experience is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills; candidates may undergo an attention-to-detail skills assessment.
  • Preferred experience in online customer service.
  • Familiarity with Stripe and Avalara is advantageous.
  • Experience with Ecommerce Platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, BigCommerce) is preferred.
