Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Document Recovery and Corrections Analyst to join our client in Fishers, IN! Working under general supervision, the Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining agency and/or investor relationships by researching, recovering, and correcting mortgage documents to ensure compliance with mandated guidelines and completeness of collateral files. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering an annual salary of $55,000-$60,000!

Essential Job Functions:
  • Support the assigned business unit in monitoring and analyzing required documents to complete agency/investor mandates within SLA.
  • Maintain relationships with business units and investors, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conduct in-depth document research with title companies, county clerks, and/or internal departments as needed.
  • Use independent judgment to manage and interpret investor guidelines, disputing discrepancies as necessary.
  • Review and compare documents to identify errors based on agency/investor guidelines.
  • Generate reports based on analysis, showcasing trends and common themes.
  • Demonstrate goal orientation, self-motivation, and a sense of professional curiosity to learn and recommend solutions.
  • Adapt quickly to changes and take a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm in stressful situations, and handling multiple tasks with interruptions.
  • Perform general office duties, including outbound/inbound phone calls and emails when following up on document recovery.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, showcasing thorough detail orientation.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Three (3) to four (4) years of mortgage experience with document processing.
  • Strong knowledge of Agency guidelines, Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, with strong skills in Excel.
  • Problem resolution skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Business analysis or project knowledge is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Ginnie NET and/or Mortgage Industry Custodian Site Portals is a plus.
