Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ATM Settlement Specialist to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Newark, DE! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate settlement of over 4,500 ATMs within strict deadlines. The ATM Settlement Specialist will play a crucial role in analyzing and resolving cash order differences, handling adjustments, and ensuring the reconciliation of financial transactions to the database. This Contract opportunity is offering $25/HR!

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze information from internal/external systems, couriers, customers, and processors to systematically investigate cash order differences, applying logic and understanding of industry and vendor operations.
  • Accurately process settlement of ATMs and balance transactions to accounts/general ledgers consistently.
  • Research and resolve at-risk terminals, updating reports with required information within specified timeframes.
  • Deliver clear and concise communications regarding daily discrepancies to customers, couriers, and other team members.
  • Submit claims in accordance with contractual guidelines to mitigate the risk of financial loss.
  • Provide complete documentation within the Settlement System Contact Log for all customer communications, research, and issue resolutions.
  • Escalate settlements, general ledger, or communication issues with supporting documentation to management promptly.
  • Actively participate in Impact Planning Meetings and assist in the completion of plans.
  • Participate in relevant training sessions, supporting other team members in training efforts when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting/Finance or 2 years of experience in cash logistics.
  • Additional experience in a related field (ATM operations, bank operations, retail banking, or another banking capacity) is preferred.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve complex situations, including monetary errors, reporting discrepancies, or terminal malfunctions.
  • Strong analytical skills and practical knowledge of systems/applications, with awareness of Cash Connect and Courier processes.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while effectively prioritizing responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in using Windows and Microsoft software products, specifically Excel.

Job Knowledge and Skills:
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience.
  • Experience with a cash management system and analysis of its data.
  • Previous cash logistics experience strongly preferred.
  • Working proficiency in cash logistics data tools used in the industry.
