Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join our client in Haddonfield, NJ! This Direct-Hire opportunity offers an annual salary of $45,000-$55,000/year!

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture department to manage the onboarding process, ensuring new team members are seamlessly integrated into the company culture.
  • Proactively manage life event celebrations, including greeting cards, gift cards, and milestone events to foster a culture of belonging.
  • Coordinate company events, activities, and gifts for HQ, remote, and contracted team members to enhance engagement and a sense of belonging.
  • Recommend and organize events and activities to strengthen team connections.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to communicate timely People and Culture updates through internal communications.
  • Enhance the team member recognition program to reward those embodying core values.
  • Manage a high-volume interview calendar for open positions across departments and time zones.
  • Act as a liaison between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring effective communication.
  • Develop and manage interview guides for various roles to support the talent acquisition strategy.
  • Attend hiring team meetings, update interview guides, and manage assessment and references processes.
  • Actively participate in networking and industry events to build and strengthen the talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on promotion strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the Labor Law posters process to meet state and federal requirements.
  • Ensure People and Culture procedures align with federal, state, local laws, and ISO-9001.
  • Collaborate with PCS to manage communication regarding Leave of Absence benefits.
  • Ensure People and Culture initiatives align with core values and culture connectors.
  • Manage the performance review process and communicate updates regularly.
  • Update the organizational chart and maintain transparency in role changes.
  • Process promotion and job change letters as needed.
  • Prioritize and address team member inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Manage company travel request procedures and HQ processes.
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture Specialist to inform team members of total rewards plans.
  • Work with Marketing on a promotion strategy for Tucker's total rewards program.
  • Develop and manage a total rewards newsletter, recommending and managing wellbeing initiatives.
  • Update HRMS data as needed and provide support to team members navigating the system.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in HRMS platforms, specifically Namely.
  • Experience in ATS platforms, specifically JazzHR.
  • Transportation industry experience.
