Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our client in Philadelphia, PA! This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers up to $33/Hour!
Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys throughout all phases of legal proceedings, including litigation, regulatory, commercial, and employment matters.

Draft, coordinate, and organize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

Manage litigation caseloads, overseeing complaint management, tracking, and participating in settlement negotiations.

Schedule legal proceedings with judicial and regulatory authorities, attorneys, and other involved parties.

Perform various legal functions under attorney supervision, contributing to the overall success of legal cases.

Create and maintain comprehensive case lists and files, notifying management of deadlines on a rolling basis or as requested.

Prepare chronologies, analyze and summarize documents, and coordinate factual investigations.

Draft answers to interrogatories and assist in the preparation for depositions and trial.

Conduct legal research, including statutes, administrative history, case law, and other relevant materials.

File documents with courts and agencies, utilizing e-filing procedures.

Populate databases and case tracking systems to ensure effective case management.

Prepare and review various legal documents, including discovery, affidavits, summonses, subpoenas, complaints, appeals, memos, motions, and pretrial agreements.

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including preparing memos and outside correspondence related to legal matters.

Perform other special projects and assignments as requested.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED with certification in Secretarial Science or Paralegal studies.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Law, or Legal Studies preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or in a related field.

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, legal documents, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules.

Strong project management skills, ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work professionally with management, colleagues, and customers.
