Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Vendor Manager to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in West Chester, PA! The Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our client’s vendor management office (VMO), including overseeing open job requisitions, resolving inquiries, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and suppliers. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners/vendors. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $28.17/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage open job requisitions within the VMO, including resolving issues and inquiries on a daily basis.
  • Track and update feedback/status in appropriate spreadsheets and communicate with stakeholders and suppliers as needed.
  • Coordinate interviews, communicate details to interview panels and vendors, and schedule interviews in Outlook calendar.
  • Regularly communicate with department hiring managers, temp labor suppliers, and IT VMO Team Lead to provide updates on staffing delays and open requisitions.
  • Ensure preferred vendors adhere to negotiated terms and pricing for roles and rates.
  • Conduct yearly analysis of vendor performance, including preparing scorecard reports and facilitating review meetings.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding process and evaluate potential new suppliers based on various criteria.
  • Collaborate with leadership, finance, and procurement teams to streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with invoicing and documentation requirements.
  • Undertake other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2-4 years of work experience or comparable education in strategic sourcing, temporary staffing, recruitment, or procurement.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Coupa or other procurement systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.
  • Strong knowledge of temp labor and IT consulting industry practices and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-centric approach to working with leaders on temp labor recruitment and contracting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely across all levels and markets.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  • Effective project and program management skills, with a focus on tracking end dates and contract details.
  • Collaborative, influential, and cross-functional skills.
  • Working knowledge of contract details and basic language related to temp labor and professional services.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and process improvement concepts.
