Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Student Counselor to join our client in Wilmington, DE! You will play a crucial role in assisting students through a stressful and life-changing process, providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed. The ideal candidate will possess emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $20/Hour!

Provide counseling and support to students navigating challenging academic and personal situations.

Develop and implement strategies to help students manage stress, improve academic performance, and achieve their goals.

Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable seeking assistance and guidance.

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to identify and address student needs and concerns.

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address a variety of issues, including but not limited to academic struggles, mental health concerns, and interpersonal conflicts.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.

Stay up-to-date on best practices in student counseling and participate in professional development activities as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

1+ years of experience working in a professional setting, preferably in a counseling or advising role.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students from diverse backgrounds.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other relevant technology platforms.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
