Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist to join our client in Coral Gables, FL! The Foreclosure Specialist is responsible for overseeing the foreclosure process for assigned loans, ensuring compliance with investor/insurer, state, and regulatory guidelines while minimizing financial losses to the company. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $20/Hour!

Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain regular communication with attorneys via phone, email, Fortracs, and Lenstar.
  • Ensure timely processing of activities and responsiveness to alerts to meet foreclosure timeline management requirements.
  • Manage attorney performance to minimize losses and ensure consistent progress in the foreclosure process.
  • Handle special projects and reporting as required by investors.
  • Document all actions taken, correspondence, and explanations of delays, ensuring compliance with state and investor requirements.
  • Negotiate opportunities to shorten timelines, improve performance, or minimize loss.
  • Manage loan portfolios, including maintaining average CAPES assigned by state and firm, following up with other departments or local counsel for outstanding items, and providing information for investor-requested reporting.
  • Meet requirements and goals set forth for turnover ratio, FNMA timeline completion, milestone tracking exceptions, avoidable delays, and pull-through rate.

Requirements:
  • Preferably a graduate from a 4-year college or university with major coursework related to the position's requirements. Equivalent combinations of job experience and education demonstrating the ability to perform essential job functions will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of foreclosure law and terminology.
  • Familiarity with fraud and appraisal problems and ability to detect them.
  • Proficiency with Fortracs and Lenstar preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in mortgage servicing default and foreclosure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective attorney and internal departmental communication.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and drive performance improvements.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for foreclosure management.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the mortgage servicing industry.
