Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our client in Jacksonville, FL! As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering the client’s employee benefit and compensation programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of benefits, from healthcare plans to retirement programs, while maintaining compliance with federal and state laws. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $65,000-$75,000/year!

Responsibilities:
  • Research, analyze, and administer healthcare plans and wellness programs, including medical, dental, disability, and family leave benefits.
  • Assist in the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of benefits enrollments and assist with the open enrollment process.
  • Advise employees on benefit options, answer inquiries, and facilitate enrollment in benefit and compensation programs.
  • Process paperwork related to disability, FMLA absences, and employee life status changes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct quality checks of benefits-related data to maintain data integrity.


Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of the benefits industry and employee benefit laws in multiple states, including FL, CA, SC, GA.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
