Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Legal Privacy Compliance Analyst to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in West Chester, PA! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to conduct comprehensive privacy assessments, manage projects to align practices with current and future state privacy laws, and provide essential legal support for data mapping activities. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers up to $40/Hour!
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct privacy assessments of internal uses of personal data, including data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for higher risk scenarios or as required by law.

Collaborate with privacy transaction teams for DPIAs involving third parties.

Lead regular reviews of previously completed DPIAs to identify and assess changes.

Provide legal privacy support for data mapping activities.

Project management for aligning practices with current and future state privacy laws.

Handle day-to-day responses to business requests for privacy guidance and external inquiries about personal data usage.

Assist in incident response activities, including identifying root causes and remediation efforts.

Promote legal privacy awareness and best practices through specialized training, regular outreach, and creation of content for communications and privacy awareness activities.

Assist in the implementation and periodic review of policies, notices, and practices to facilitate compliance with privacy obligations.

Research and monitor changes in privacy law and laws affecting personal data retention obligations.

Assist in other projects (including transactions) supporting global data privacy and information governance programs.
Qualifications:
-
Experience in conducting data privacy compliance activities, preferably in a consumer-retail-oriented business.

Prior experience reviewing legislation and implementing, maintaining, and supporting legal programs within a business.

Continuing awareness of changes in laws and best practices related to privacy, including knowledge of CCPA, GDPR, ePrivacy, and HIPAA.

Familiarity with software, cloud solutions, and other technology processing information.

Proficient in using Project Management tools such as Microsoft Planner and Confluence.

Organized, hard-working, and self-motivated.
