Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our client in West Chester, PA! The Benefits Analyst plays a vital role within our client’s HR Service Center team, focusing on health insurance cost containment and the development, execution, and communication of employee wellness programs. This position also involves supervising a Benefits Administrator to ensure smooth operations. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering $70,000-$80,000/year!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as a technical expert in health care cost containment, leading initiatives to control costs effectively.

Analyze health insurance claims payments, ensuring accuracy in employee versus employer responsibility for claims cost share and conducting audits of claims payment processes.

Drive wellness initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement and overall well-being, including financial wellness goals.

Compile statistical summaries of participant data, event/seminar attendance, and employee engagement for program evaluation purposes.

Conduct assessments to gauge interest in, and satisfaction with, wellness and fitness programs, events, or services, providing reporting on program health and outcomes.

Recommend new program or partnership opportunities with local gyms, banks, health and fitness vendors, or wellness portals/apps.

Organize and oversee health screenings such as flu or biometric screenings.

Assist the VP of HR in budget development and policy/procedure creation relevant to the wellness program's operation.

Manage the annual Open Enrollment Process in collaboration with benefits brokers and HRIS team.

Ensure timely completion of all benefit compliance activities.

Oversee benefit invoice reconciliations and provide backup support to the Benefits Administrator as needed.

Resolve escalated or complex benefit issues and support 401(k) inquiries from employees and plan administrators.

Monitor the part-time Variable Hour Employee population for medical eligibility and offers of coverage.

Manage the annual ACA process.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in a Benefits Administrative role or similar capacity.

Minimum of 1 year of management experience, preferably in a benefits role.

Strong working knowledge of human resources principles and practices.

Logical reasoning skills with a sense of curiosity.

Enthusiasm for designing and implementing employee wellness programs.

Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel proficiency (Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Experience with HRIS/HRMS systems preferred.

Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and other benefit compliance regulations.

Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

Willingness to travel between locations to execute wellness initiatives or assist with employee engagement events.

Preferred: 2+ years’ experience in wellness program administration and health/fitness-related certifications.
