Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Verification Specialist to join our client in Moorestown, NJ! As a Data Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all administrative functions related to preparing claims for processing by Claims Analysts. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $18/Hour!

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Scan all claim forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Edit any errors and/or inquiry areas on claim forms.
  • Utilize scanning software edit function to correct information whenever possible, ensuring claims can proceed smoothly.
  • Work diligently to ensure batches are prepared and committed regularly and consistently.
  • Alert Claims management of any unusual encounters in terms of quantity or quality.
  • Process all return mail, prepare it for mailing, and perform the mailing process within allowable timeframes.
  • Assist with opening and sorting incoming mail to be processed.
  • Log all batches that have been worked for the day.
  • Identify corrected claims and update notes for the Claims Analysts.
  • Count batches the following morning in the drawer to provide totals and latest dates.
  • Purge all verified claims once received from Multiplan.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in data verification or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and software applications.
  • Familiarity with scanning equipment.
  • Proficiency in using correction/editing software.
  • Knowledge of printers and mailing equipment (sorters, folders) for processing outgoing claims materials.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
