Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a proficient and experienced Probate Paralegal to join our client in Fort Lauderdale, FL  33301! The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of probate procedures, including previous experience with guardianships and trust modifications. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $75,000-$85,000/year!

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys within the Trust and Estates Practice Group.
  • Draft and prepare Probate Pleadings and various legal documents with precision and adherence to legal guidelines.
  • Facilitate the inventory and distribution of assets in probate cases.
  • Proficiency in handling IRS Forms such as gift tax (709) and estate tax (706) returns.
  • Record documents and deeds with courts, utilizing E-Filing systems where applicable.
  • Thoroughly proofread all documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in billing processes, including preparing invoices, creating cover letters, and dispatching them to clients.
  • Maintain meticulous client files, including organizing documents for signings.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients on a daily basis.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in a Law Firm setting, specifically supporting a Trust and Estates Practice Group.
  • Extensive experience in probate procedures, including gathering financial information, tax returns, etc.
  • Prior experience in guardianship matters is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage heavy paperwork efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong team player with a proactive work ethic, who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
