Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Plant Manager to join our client in Shelby, MT! The Plant Manager holds the critical responsibility of overseeing the entire production process within our client’s manufacturing facilities. This role encompasses ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining a safe working environment, and fostering a culture of excellence among staff. The Plant Manager is entrusted with the supervision of all personnel operations, safety protocols, and facility maintenance. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $80,000-$110,000/year!

Essential Functions:
  • Prioritize and enforce safety protocols for all employees and on-site personnel.
  • Conduct safety training sessions to educate and empower employees on best practices.
  • Utilize NetSuite to create and manage Purchase Orders and Work Orders efficiently.
  • Manage payroll processes, oversee PTO requests, and lead the hiring process, including disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and promotions.
  • Monitor and update Daily Ops Dashboard, tracking daily production metrics and inventory levels.
  • Procure necessary parts and supplies for maintenance activities.
  • Oversee production operations to ensure optimal efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring all employees are fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
  • Coordinate waste removal processes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and oversee repair and maintenance activities.
  • Schedule and supervise in-house maintenance tasks, including safety equipment inspections and repairs.
  • Attend relevant Microsoft Teams meetings as directed by the Director of Operations.
  • Travel as needed, approximately 10% of working time.
  • Ensure employees responsible for purchasing maintenance or capital items are adequately trained in NetSuite for accurate accounting.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to rectify accounting errors and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain the facility in adherence to OSHA 1910 regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience implementing safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
