Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a BI PD Claims Adjuster to join our client for a remote opportunity! As a BIPD Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 150 pending claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers an hourly range of $34-$40/Hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping claim metrics current to track progress and performance.
- Establishing facts of loss, conducting coverage analysis, investigating claims, determining compensability/liability/negligence, and coordinating medical care when necessary.
- Managing litigation processes, including damage assessment and settlement negotiations.
- Identifying potential fraud and working with authorized vendors as needed.
- Conducting reserve analysis and completing reports in a timely manner.
- Attending conferences, client meetings, and mentoring other adjusters as required.
- Ensuring all file handling adheres to state statutes and client guidelines/best practices.
- Undertaking other miscellaneous duties as assigned, which may include travel.
Qualification Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred.
- 2 to 7 years of prior claim adjusting experience.
- Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing.
- Proficiency in negotiating claims and directing litigation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to work independently with excellent organization and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in explaining and appropriately responding to auditors, clients, and potential clients during presentations.
