Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Philadelphia, PA 19103! As an AP Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include processing invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with client communication. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers up to $30/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently process 50-100 invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and verify pricing, quantities, and terms.
  • Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
  • Devote significant time to reconciling vendor statements.
  • Investigate discrepancies, resolve outstanding issues, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address any payment-related queries.
  • Assist in following up on client invoices through email and phone calls.
  • Ensure timely payment and address any billing inquiries.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Update vendor information, payment terms, and other relevant details.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized accounts payable system.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience: Familiarity with invoice processing, vendor management, and reconciliation.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable following up with clients via email and phone.
  • Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: Legal experience is not required; we value a proactive attitude and a desire to understand our processes.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
