Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our client in Malvern, PA! The Billing Specialist will be responsible for compiling, reviewing, and processing billing information accurately and efficiently. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $18-$20/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and post bills for attorney hours to clients on a monthly basis.
  • Review and edit pre-bills based on attorney and secretary requests.
  • Process write-offs following company policy.
  • Execute complex bills in a timely manner, including multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, and preparation of electronic bills.
  • Handle a high volume of bills per month efficiently.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with attorneys, secretaries, and clients regarding billing inquiries and issues.
  • Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation.
  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems.
  • Create new billing formats as needed.
  • Generate billing schedules and various other billing analyses as required.
  • Create and print final client billing.
  • Create and distribute monthly reports.
  • Utilize computerized accounting software programs (CMS, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities.
  • Operate office equipment including personal computer, copiers, fax machines, and 10-key calculator.

Experience and Skills:
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage work flow efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-up on own initiative.
