Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mock-Up Artist to join our client in Philadelphia, PA 19112. The Mock-Up Artist will be responsible for preparing files for printing, managing material and supply needs, and working on multiple projects within a fast-paced environment. This Contract opportunity offers $15-$18/Hour!

Responsibilities:
  • Creating physical prototypes and mockups of new and existing products and packaging.
  • Applying and manipulating special materials such as foil, glitter, tissue, etc., to enhance mockups.
  • Setting up, printing, and preparing artwork files for mockups.
  • Photographing and packing mockups for shipment, while also organizing reference images on the server.
  • Maintaining organized filing systems both digitally and in the Mock-Up room.
  • Retrieving products from the sample room when necessary.
  • Providing regular updates to the Supervisor on the status of assigned requests and documenting any issues that arise.
  • Performing other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with InDesign is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in crafting physical objects using paper, board, and other materials, showcasing excellent craft skills.
  • Understanding of specialty materials and adhesives, along with proficiency in working with them.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow concept designs, written specifications, and measurements accurately.
  • Capability to create digital images that faithfully represent provided concepts and direction.
  • Basic knowledge of digital photography.
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and a strong teamwork mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
