Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Atlantic City, NJ 08401! As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for addressing and responding to all customer inquiries through various channels, including in person, verbal, and written communication, in accordance with company policies and guidelines. This exciting Direct-Hire opportunity offers $20.13/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address and respond to all customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize company systems to complete transactions necessary to maintain and establish customer account and billing records.
  • Provide overall satisfactory customer service experience by effectively addressing customer needs and concerns.
  • Process various types of transactions in the company's internal CIS system to establish and update customer account/billing records, meter and service work order activity, gas leaks, merchandise loans, deposits, and budgets.
  • Handle incoming correspondences and respond to them in a timely manner.
  • Discuss collection activity, payment arrangements, assistance programs, and overdue balances with customers.
  • Process, post, and balance incoming customer payments accurately.
  • Assist in training other Customer Representatives as directed by Supervision.
  • Perform other customer service and clerical-related duties as required by Supervision.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Call center experience.
  • Prior job experience meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Industry experience in Banking, Mortgage, Utility, Medical Administration, Dispatcher, or Military.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to operate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with the general public.
  • Ability to answer questions and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • De-escalation skills to handle tense situations calmly.
  • Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Capacity to process and retain a large amount of information.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
