Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our client for a remote opportunity! As a Procurement Specialist, you'll lead efforts to enhance procurement processes, collaborating with stakeholders to negotiate contracts, ensure cost-effectiveness, and enforce policy compliance. This Contract opportunity offers $30-$31.25/Hour!

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring best-in-class terms while partnering with risk and legal teams as needed.
  • Optimize costs through supplier negotiation, identifying cost-effective alternatives, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor contract compliance throughout the contract period, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Onboard preferred vendors, ensuring contracts, SLAs, and vetting procedures are in place for optimal service delivery.
  • Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with key vendors, aligning objectives for mutual success.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop strategic vendor partnerships.
  • Assist in resolving procurement-related issues efficiently.
  • Champion global change management initiatives to modernize procurement processes, educating stakeholders on policies, processes, and risk management.
  • Participate in projects and other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Eight or more years of procurement experience.
  • Previous negotiation experience required.
  • Experience with Workday, Procurement, or similar Procure-to-Pay systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in all aspects of procurement.
  • Strong team player capable of interacting with various levels of management and support personnel.
  • Maintains objectivity and handles multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both listening and conveying information effectively.
  • Results-oriented, customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
