Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Fort Washington, PA! The Accounting Manager will aid in developing, implementing, and monitoring systems for general accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This Direct-Hire opportunity is offering $100,000-$125,000/year!
Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate activities and operations of the accounting department and staff.

Develop, implement, and monitor systems for general accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Understand and execute revenue recognition processes in a timely manner.

Make adjustments and recommendations on processes where necessary to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Review and analyze the organization's accounting operations, identifying areas for improvement.

Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports, including those required by regulatory agencies, banks, investors, and other external parties.

Coordinate the preparation of corporate budgets and forecasts.

Manage the monthly accounting close cycle and prepare month-end financial statements.

Install, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting systems and control procedures.

Analyze, review, and audit overall general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable systems.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance or equivalent.

Five to six years of related experience or equivalent.

Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates effectively.

Proficient in NetSuite ERP or a similar system.

Experience with revenue recognition rules or processes.
