Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our client in Boca Raton, FL! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing clients' health records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers up to $16-$19/Hour based on experience!

Essential Job Functions:
  • Submit HIPAA requests to providers via fax, email, mail, or designated portals.
  • Safeguard patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Retrieve medical records and billing from designated portals.
  • File information and documents accurately to the client's file.
  • Review medical records and bills to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Review and file invoices.
  • Handle incoming calls and communication interactions with clients and providers.
  • Follow up with providers and document interactions in the file.
  • Prepare Demand packets.
  • Request additional medical records as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
