Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Knoxville, Tennessee! The Senior FP&A Analyst will support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function within the division, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring for multiple product lines. This role involves developing financial models, conducting comprehensive analyses, and partnering with management to drive strategic financial initiatives. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers an annual salary range of $75,000-$130,000/year based on experience!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the annual budget process, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Develop and analyze financial models and forecasts for key revenue and expense items.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Manager on ad hoc analysis and special projects to support the division’s strategic and financial goals.
  • Evaluate macroeconomic trends and leading indicators to assess their impact on the business’s financial performance.
  • Conduct budget versus actual variance analysis, providing insights and highlighting potential risks or opportunities to leadership.
  • Assist in preparing financial summaries and presentations for executive leadership, illustrating financial results and key performance metrics.
  • Serve as a liaison between corporate and divisional leadership to facilitate key business processes and systems.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERPs and planning software such as Netsuite or Oracle Hyperion.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
  • Ability to identify trends and patterns in complex datasets.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
  • Experience or knowledge of the SaaS or travel software industry is advantageous.
